Itinerary
DAY 1 – LIMA – CUSCO
Arrival in Cusco, reception at Cusco airport. Transfer to your selected hotel.
Morning at leisure.
Overnight in Cusco.
DAY 2 – CITY TOUR
Breakfast included at the hotel.
8:00 AM Pick-up from your hotel to begin the city tour. We will meet at the Plaza de Armas (Main Square) and begin our walk along Loreto Street towards Qoricancha, the Inca Temple. This site is also known as the Temple of the Sun, where we can appreciate a colonial temple built upon the foundations of an Inca temple. We will continue our tour to the upper part of the city where we will visit four archaeological sites: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucar, and Tambomachay.
After the visits, we will return to the city.

DAY 3 RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
Pick-up at your hotel. We will depart from the city of Cusco, a 2-hour drive to the community of Cusipata where we will have breakfast.
Then we will continue for 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Phullawasipata, the starting point of the hike, which is at an altitude of approximately 4,600 meters above sea level. From there, we will begin our hike along an easily accessible trail for an estimated 1 hour and 40 minutes, arriving at Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca).
Vinicunca is located at approximately 5,200 meters above sea level.
After enjoying this wonder of nature, we will return along the same route, where our transportation will be waiting. We will then travel for 1 hour and 40 minutes to Cusipata for lunch (the same place where we had breakfast).

DAY 4 SACRED VALLEY – AGUAS CALIENTES
Breakfast included at the hotel
8:00 AM Pick-up from the hotel to begin our tour of the Sacred Valley. We will take our bus to the first stop, the archaeological site of Pisac, where our guide will explain the importance of this archaeological center. Afterward, we will continue by visiting its traditional market.
Buffet lunch included.
After lunch, we will head to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, where we will appreciate one of the marvelous works left by the Incas.
We will stay in this beautiful town to wait for our train to Aguas Calientes.
Departure of the EXPEDITIONS – TOURIST train from Ollantaytambo station to Aguas Calientes.
Arrival at the Aguas Calientes station, transfer on foot to your selected hotel.
- Dinner on your own. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.
DAY 5 – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
Breakfast at the hotel. Pick-up from the hotel to take the bus to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. Guided tour of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu for 2.5 hours. Free time for your own visit or return to Aguas Calientes.
Lunch on your own.
PM Departure on the tourist train to Ollantaytambo station.
Arrival in Ollantaytambo, transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
Dinner on your own. Overnight in Cusco.
DAY 6 – CUSCO – LIMA
At the indicated time, transfer to the airport (2 hours before your flight).
