Short Itinerary

Pick-up at your hotel for a visit to three important sites in the Sacred Valley:

• Chinchero: Stop at a textile workshop to learn about traditional Andean weaving techniques.
• Moray: An archaeological site of circular terraces, used by the Incas as an agricultural experimentation center.
• Maras: Visit to the salt mines, formed by thousands of pools where salt has been extracted by hand since pre-Hispanic times.

After the visits, return to Cusco. Lunch included and free afternoon. Overnight in Cusco.

Itinerary

Morning

• Hotel pickup in Cusco to begin the excursion to the Sacred Valley.
• Chinchero: Visit to a traditional textile workshop to learn about ancestral weaving techniques, natural dyes, and Andean textile symbolism.
• Moray: Exploration of the circular archaeological site, featuring impressive concentric terraces believed to have been an Inca agricultural laboratory for crop experimentation.
• Maras: Visit to the iconic salt mines (Salineras de Maras), where thousands of salt evaporation ponds cascade down the mountainside. Learn about the centuries-old artisanal salt extraction process still practiced by local families.

Midday

• Return to Cusco.
• Buffet lunch included.

Afternoon & Evening

• Free afternoon at leisure to explore Cusco or rest.
• Overnight in Cusco.
