Short Itinerary
06:30 – Hotel pick-up to begin our full-day tour of the Sacred Valley.
• Chinchero: Visit to a traditional textile workshop to learn about ancestral Andean weaving techniques, natural dyes, and symbolic patterns preserved by local artisans.
• Moray: Exploration of the circular terraces forming an Inca agricultural laboratory, where microclimates allowed experimentation with crops across different altitudes.
• Maras: Observation of over 5,000 salt evaporation ponds cascading down the mountainside, with explanation of the centuries-old artisanal salt extraction process still practiced by local families.
• Lunch: Buffet lunch included at a local restaurant in the Sacred Valley.
• Ollantaytambo: Afternoon visit to this impressive Inca complex featuring massive terraces, the Temple of the Sun with its six monolithic stones, and an ancient urban layout still inhabited today.
• Pisac: Tour of the hilltop archaeological site with ceremonial temples, residential sectors, and agricultural terraces, followed by a visit to its vibrant artisan market offering textiles, ceramics, and local products.
